Wansford “Wan” Henry is the owner of Baluster & Crown, LLC, bringing over 30 years of hands-on experience in remodeling to the table. The company specializes in various aspects of the trade, including framing, drywalling, stair building, and door/window installation.

 

Despite being a small company with limited capital, Baluster & Crown, LLC  is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship to all its clients. The goal is to establish the company as a respected entity in both residential and small commercial remodeling. Wan's vision is to build a home improvement company that his family can be proud of and one that can serve as a sustainable source of income. Additionally, he plans to involve his nieces and nephews in every project to impart the essential knowledge needed to run a successful business, ensuring its continuity into the future.

 

He aims to mentor a team of hand-picked journeymen, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to create a cohesive home improvement entity. Quality is a central focus for Baluster & Crown, and Wan is committed to never cutting corners, even if it means facing additional costs. The company aspires for its work to be admired and sought after.

 

Wan has also stayed updated with the latest state code requirements for water and moisture-resistant practices through construction courses at PCC. He has honed his skills in stair-building, methods, and material practices, and he has also learned the trade of crown molding at PCC. Additionally, he possesses hands-on experience in demolition. He has a deep understanding of the nuances between demolition and deconstruction and the delicate dismantling within occupied dwellings. His education in safety issues concerning environmental quality and his dedicated research for real-time projects demonstrate Baluster & Crown's conscientious and environmentally aware approach.
